Analysis of the Walloon « pandemic decree » of February 2, 2022
Conference-debate with Nicolas Thirion, professor of law at the University of Liege

Nicolas Thirion will begin an analysis of the Walloon decree voted on February 2, 2022 concerning health promotion and prevention, a decree that goes even further than the federal pandemic law, in particular in terms of restricting citizens’ rights and granting exorbitant power to the executive. It will encourage us to initiate a broader reflection by answering these questions about the preservation of democracy and fundamental rights in times of crisis.
