[SÉRIE] Bureaucracy in power

Nicole Delépine, pediatrician and oncologist, is the author, with her husband, of « Les enfants sacrifiés du Covid » and « Soigner ou obéir ». Lucid for many years, she explains how doctors became submissive in the 80s in France (and elsewhere…), explaining their fierce obedience during the Covid-19 event. This was partly due to the bureaucratic organization of cancer care in France: they imposed care and treatment protocols, overseen by an out-of-touch bureaucratic structure, based among other things on reducing costs and increasing shareholder profits. This reminds us of education, agriculture, urban planning, wars, food… raising the essential question: who decides? Not the people, that’s for sure.
