Press conference: Stella ASSANGE

This April 11, 2023 marked 4 years of Julian Assange’s arrest at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, transferred to the high security prison of Belmarsh. Assange is being prosecuted not for who he is, but for what he has revealed, including the war crimes of the U.S. government. Behind the determination to keep him locked up, the torture he undergoes, is revealed the will of the power to sacrifice him to remind those who would like to do the same of the risks they are running, the States that are supplicants of the United States obediently following the directives of the master. Assange’s victory will not only be a victory for freedom of the press and freedom of expression, but also a victory for transparency, against the crimes committed by governments. The silence around Julian Assange also demonstrates the duplicity of the media of power which, if they made it a subject of importance, would contribute to his release.
