Professor emeritus of economics at the University of Ottawa, editor-in-chief of Global Research, founder and director of the Centre de Recherche sur la Mondialisation in Montreal, author of numerous works on globalization and poverty. Professor Chossudovsky has practiced in many countries around the world, and has written extensively about « developing » countries, focusing on poverty and social inequality. Among other things, he met and advised Fidel Castro on several occasions.
