2 billion reenchanters — The manifesto of the actors of change

Presentation of the new book by Aurélie PIET & Marc LUYCKX GHISI: « 2 milliards de réenchanteurs — le manifeste des acteurs du changement » published by Actes SUD.

« Global citizens, creative minority, indignant, cultural creatives, these are the various denominations that we, actors of change, wear. There is no consensus on a definition because our contours, our commitments and our actions can be different. However, what we do share is a strong desire to change the world. We aspire to a more qualitative, more ethical, more just, more human and more respectful life. The change of civilization is already underway and it comes from below. We are more than 2 billion re-enchanters, citizens who are carrying out millions of quiet revolutions across the planet. A colossal force that no economic, political or military power can stop. Together, we are building a meaningful society, the new tectonic plate of tomorrow’s world. »

Aurélie Piet is an atypical economist, a teacher-researcher who teaches at the École nationale supérieure d’arts et métiers, Sciences Po Bordeaux and business schools on the subjects of tomorrow’s economy. Specialized in alternative economic models, she is an expert member of the Business Climate Convention, the Conscience Lobby and the Desirable Futures Institute. She is the author of the book Quand l’Homo economicus saute à l’élastique… sans élastique (Plon, 2019).

Marc Luyckx Ghisi studied mathematics, philosophy and theology. He was a Catholic priest for twelve years, until his marriage. He was then a member for ten years of the « foresight cell » of the European Commission created by Jacques Delors and of the group of international advisors of Auroville in South India.
