Ukraine, Russia, Syria… Understanding the world chessboard

In order to understand the purpose of the Ukrainian conflict, it is necessary to understand the political and economic stakes and above all, who is pulling the strings.

Reporting on the war every day, as most journalists in the mainstream media do in search of headlines and thrills, brings no understanding of the real facts. A minority of political scientists, writers and investigators are providing very good analyses, which are relayed in the free media. To be informed is always possible, provided that you want it and that you relegate the soothing and soporific broadcasts of the television news, of BFMTV and of the rest of the PAF — French audio-visual landscape -, to its rightful place which is: the dustbin.

Unfortunately, the reality is quite different. The vast majority of people hypnotized and glued daily in front of their television screen, have become machines to swallow the propaganda. The Ukrainian flag is flying on the top left of the TV screens, the condescending artists are mobilizing, the crocodile tears are flowing, the town halls are sounding their sirens, and the Eiffel Tower has been adorned with blue and yellow colors, thanks to Anne Hidalgo. The same one that had the symbol of France extinguished, the day Aleppo was liberated. No comment…

Donations for Ukraine, online petitions, solicitations in stores, the humanitarian machinery has started the turbo and the injection. The European Union vibrates in unison!
How beautiful!

We would have liked and we still hope for the same intense fervor, the same surge of fraternity, the same communion for the massacres that continue in Yemen — 377,000 dead -, in Donbass — 15,000 dead -, in Syria — between 400,000 and 500,000 dead — and in Iraq — 500,000 dead -.

But nothing, not a single line or almost, no flags waving, no bobo artists pouring out their silly and syrupy compassions, no visiting BHL — our great war reporter, but in the studio -, no donations, no support, no fraternal impulse, nothing. Total nothingness. Worse, according to the television at the time of the invasion of Iraq by the USA and the international coalition, there were only  » surgical strikes « . What an ignominy!

The presence of Nazi battalions in Ukraine, totally endorsed by the Ukrainian president and his government, are minimized by the « big press », in a crass complacency. In the face of such ignominy, the tolerance of the press seems so surreal that it is hard to believe. And yet, the propagandist nightmare has turned on the reactors. From the moment the mainstream press reports on it, keep in mind that the truth is elsewhere and that it is questionable. Nobody reports that there are, more or less, 97 000 paramilitaries in the Ukrainian army!(1).

THE SITUATION IN UKRAINE AND DONBASS

Ukraine has, since the 2014 coup, been under the thumb of U.S. operations, advancing the NATO military alliance that is very hostile to Russia. This vast country has become public enemy number one of the USA and its vassals. The Crimean peninsula with the Russian base in Sevastopol is in NATO’s sights.

The population of Crimea never wanted to be part of Ukraine. A referendum was held and an overwhelming majority of Crimeans voted to return to Russia, from which they had been separated by an autocratic decision of Khrushchev in 1954. Of course, Western propagandists have denounced this « Russian invasion », which is the most abject fantasy.

As for the Donbass region, consisting of the provinces of Donetsk and Lugansk, the inhabitants, dismayed by the 2014 coup and threats of losing their patriotic spirit to Russia, have proclaimed their independence. Since then, hell has broken loose, and successive bombings by the Ukrainian government since 2014 have killed over 15,000 people.

The Minsk Protocol signed on September 5, 2014 by representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) and the Lugansk People’s Republic (LNR) was intended to end the war in eastern Ukraine. The agreement was centered on an immediate ceasefire in the Donbass region, and to proceed with the withdrawal from Ukrainian territory of illegal armed formations and military equipment, as well as irregular fighters and mercenaries. Translate neo-Nazi battalions.

This agreement has never been respected by the successive Ukrainian presidents since the beginning and the Donbass region has been living in hell for 8 years. In addition to the fact that Russia could not accept that NATO missiles were pointed at Moscow from Ukraine, diplomacy was well and truly at a standstill. So President Putin made a very difficult decision, namely to solve the problem. You can blame it, you can praise it, you can criticize it, but the issues, as we will discover, are far from simple. There is a big difference between  » the one who makes war, and the one who creates the trap for war to be made « . Quote to ponder.

THREE MAIN TRENDS

First of all, it is necessary to understand that there are three main currents that direct the Earth:

  • A financial oligarchy with colonizing tendencies, the most powerful and the richest. It is composed of politicians, industrialists, financiers, and media bosses from the American Democratic clan, currently embodied by Joe Biden, current President of the USA, the City of London, the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the majority of EU countries including France, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Israel.

Their obedient and ultra-frightened henchmen such as Bill Gates, George Soros, and the GAFAMs — Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft — ensure the propaganda, the infiltration of the states and the censorship.
  • A financial oligarchy with nationalist-populist tendencies, which has become over time a serious and dangerous challenger to the other faction, also composed of politicians, industrialists and financiers, found in the clan of American Republicans embodied by former US President Donald Trump, China’s Xi Jinping, and Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
  • And the rest of the countries that do not want to take sides between the two, leaning sometimes for one current, sometimes for the other, depending on alliances, investments and economic contracts.

The leaders of the United States, secure in their arrogance as an « indispensable nation, » have no respect for the other countries of the world. We must not forget that since its creation, the USA has been at war with one or more countries.

It is obvious that Russia represents a block that the US must constantly harass in order to make it bend. Since Kosovo and ex-Yugoslavia — where I remind you there were training camps for Jihadists to go and fight in Syria — the USA wants to bend, among others, Russia and make sure to have the total control over all the countries of the EU.

The current conflict through Ukraine is a major episode in the confrontation between the liberal faction — USA, EU — and the imperialist-populist faction — Russia, China -

Ukraine is far from being run by altruists. Indeed, who has heard of the Indigenous Peoples Act No. 38 passed on July 1, 2021? In essence, this law forbids Slavs — Russians and Hungarians — to speak their own language. In the end, Slavs are no longer protected in Ukraine and are considered as subhuman. This is the first racial law passed in Europe in 77 years.(2)

UKRAINE-SYRIA RELATIONSHIP

So what is the relationship between the situation in Ukraine and Syria? First, it is necessary to briefly understand how and why the war in Syria began. Since 2010, it appears that there are huge reserves of gas and oil in the waters off Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Syria. Israel exploits the Syrian oil and gas reserves in the Golan Heights, which have been annexed to Syria since 1981.

According to reports in the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar published in 2012, the Qataris had a plan, approved by the Obama administration, to build a Qatari gas pipeline to transport gas to Europe via the Syrian region of Homs.

This onshore pipeline would have started in Qatar, crossed Saudi Arabia, then Jordan, avoiding Iraq to arrive at Homs in Syria, from where it would have branched off in three directions: Latakia on the Syrian coast, Tripoli in northern Lebanon, and Turkey, in order to break the Russian gas monopoly in Europe and avoid a longer, more expensive and more dangerous sea freight.

President, Bashar al Assad disagreed and on December 25, 2013, he signed his first oil and gas exploration agreement with Russia in his territorial waters. President Bashar al-Assad has said no to US looting of his oil resources.

Syria is said to have the largest offshore oil reserves in the Mediterranean, with 2.5 billion barrels, the largest of any of its neighbors except Iraq.

Throughout ten years of deadly war, from 2010 to 2020, the governments of the United States, England, France, Turkey, etc., have supported, financed and armed multinational terrorist groups and organizations of multiple allegiances and various hats, as well as separatist militias at their command. They have deliberately carried out unilateral and tripartite military aggressions against the Syrian Arab Republic, occupied parts of its territory, committed murder and destruction, carried out displacement and demographic changes, plundered its natural and historical wealth including oil, gas, agricultural crops and antiquities, burned and destroyed everything they could not steal, imposed more and more unilateral coercive measures on the Syrian people.

You have never been informed by the media that on May 31, 2020, the Syrian Arab Republic sent a formal complaint to the UN Secretary General and the President of the Security Council against the governments of some member states, foremost among them the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Turkey. Purpose: « To put an end to hostile interference by foreign states in the internal affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic and to call on all member states to refrain from any practices aimed at undermining the independence and continuation of the political process. »

The plan, elaborated for more than 20 years, consisted in destabilizing Syria durably, starting with the overthrow of the Damascus regime. The West, which plays the same role behind the scenes as Israel, will insist heavily that Syria fall.

The West, and behind them the colonizing global financial oligarchy, have been trying by all means since 2011 to bring down the Syrian regime by multiplying provocations, civil war, threats, retaliatory measures and false flag attacks.

For now, and fortunately for the sake of all, the international coalition is being defeated in Syria. But, of course, the colonizing oligarchy faction is trying by all means to achieve its ends. To do this, Russia must be made to bend. And the access is called: Ukraine.

Since the end of 2013, Russia has been the enemy of the Western world, accused of all evils: of wanting to wage war all over the place, of being homophobic, racist and anti-democratic, and of multiplying alleged destabilization attempts of all kinds (cyber attacks, interference in the American elections in November 2016, etc.).

Why? Because it blocked the third world war, because it does not obey the colonizing bloc, because it is the champion of the national-populist clan, because it is the only one capable of physically resisting the colonizing financial oligarchy (militarily and economically thanks to its rapprochement with China, another power with national-populist tendencies), and therefore because it strongly opposes the accomplishment of the plan!

So that’s what Ukraine is for: to try to make Russia subservient to the colonizing financial oligarchy and to make it bend on the Syrian issue. This is what is negotiated under the table. If this is the case, we will soon know it, either by the opening of a new conflict in Syria, or by the impossibility of solving the Ukrainian conflict.

At the Geneva summit — June 2021- , President Joe Biden acknowledged his country’s defeat in Syria. He had pledged not to intervene in that country and had acknowledged that it was protected by Russia. Commitment not kept, as American forces are still omnipresent in Syria. Similarly, he had agreed to the commissioning of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline with a gas price slightly higher than that usually charged by Russia as war damages.

It should be noted that there is a resumption since the beginning of 2022 of serious events in Syria:

  • The attack on a prison run by Kurdish mercenaries in an area illegally occupied by the United States where jihadists were being held, in January 2022, would be the first step in the US recruitment plan.
  • The elimination of Daech’s caliph, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, by a U.S. commando on February 3, 2022, placed a more compliant leader in his place.
  • A meeting, chaired by former Syrian Council of Ministers President Riad Hijab and Muslim Brotherhood officials, resulted in a division of roles between various jihadist groups and US think tanks on February 5, 2022 in Qatar.
  • Hundreds of people gathered on Friday, February 11, 2022 in Suwaita, a large city in southern Syria, to demand better living conditions. Protesters gathered for the fifth day in a row in the city after authorities mistakenly withdrew 600,000 families from the subsidy program, reports the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which has an extensive network of sources in Syria.
We are witnessing more of a popular emotion in relation to living conditions rather than a revolutionary movement as there may have been in 2011. However, coregistration is always possible. It is important to understand that the economic situation in Syria is really catastrophic. Because of the American embargo, there is little or no electricity, no fuel for heating, bread is rationed, wages are miserable, when you are lucky enough to have one…
  • According to the SVR (Russian Foreign Intelligence Service) the CIA is in the process of renewing ties — since February 2022 — with the jihadists in northern Syria. It would recruit them to carry out sporadic attacks against the Syrian Arab Army.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the outcome of the Ukrainian and Syrian conflicts will, I hope, allow a redistribution of the cards. Until now, the majority of the planet was under unipolar domination, that of the colonizing financial oligarchy. The resistance of Russia and Syria allows us to glimpse the changeover to a multipolar world where the peoples, at last, will be able to prosper without the harmful influence of the US war-mongering caste.

Syria holds the key to the Middle East, and together with Russia, these two nations hold the keys to a brighter future for the sovereignty of the people.
